In this series of work, the painting is seen as a puzzle, as a collage of forms. Each monochromatic form is transformed into a piece and is given a special role. Some of them are characters, others are simply filled with colour and they intend to give a sense of space and time. (At the time I was very fond of artists like Keith Haring, Alexis Akrithakis and Niki de Saint Phalle...Who I still admire a lot!)
This series of paintings was realized in during the year 2003-04 and was presented in the exhibition Puzzle + in Grouptherapybar in Athens on May 2005.
