The Wearable Hacking workshop took place in the island of San Simon, in the north of Spain on July 2015 in the context of the Exploradores.15 Summer School organised by Javier Noguerol and Toño Cabanelas in collaboration with the IED Campus of Madrid (European Institute of Design). During an intense week of experimentation with smart textiles, diy electronics and creative coding, as well as traditional crafting techniques, the participants engaged in prototyping interactive garments and accessories. The focus of the workshop was to work with existing pieces of clothing or devices in order to create custom wearables using hacking and tinkering methodologies.

The workshop materials were sponsored by Aitex.
